Established in 1974, Deakin University is named after the second Prime Minister of Australia, Alfred Deakin. It is Australia's foremost university to start the system of distance education. The university has on offer over hundreds of courses including 106 undergraduate courses, 171 post-graduate courses, and 43 research degrees are offered by the faculty. The university offers a number of subjects like humanities, social science, business, law, medicine, psychology, information technology, and environmental sciences, to name a few. The faculty of the university provides its students with a number of subjects to choose from according to their field of interest. A few of the subjects are Business, Psychology, Health, Social Development, and Nursing.

Students are encouraged to engage in extracurricular activities through more than 150 clubs and societies present across all campuses or make use of the university’s wide range of student services and support. The university has gone the last mile by developing an award-winning digital assistant app to help students keep track of their commitments and get the most out of their time at university.

Totally worth your money and time.

Tips: Nothing really, the whole process of getting into deakin is really simplified and easy. You have mentors on campus that can guide you in your first year and and help you transition to university life easily. There is a lot of help and resources available whenever you need them.

The transport facilities and too expensive.

Tips: The application process for admission into BA program required me first of all choose the course, containing university's overseas representative, understanding the entry requirements, gathering supported documents, certifying my documents and then submitting my application through Daikin's online portal.
