  • Applicant must have pass standard class XII
  • Student applying for undergraduate study in Science must have achieved 65% in standard class XII
  • Prerequisites:
    • Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English EAL (English as an additional language) or at least 20 in English other than EAL 
    • A study score of 30 in any English, any Mathematics or any Science equals 2 aggregate points per study. Overall maximum of 10 points.

TOEFL

  • No less than 50 in each skill

IELTS

Marks - 6/9

  • Overall IELTS score of 6.0 with no band less than 6.0 (or equivalent)

  • English Language Proficiency scores are not required if applicants have fulfilled any of the below requirement in 12th English:
    • All India Senior School Certificate – Central Board of Secondary Education: 60%
    • Indian School Certificate – India Council for School Examination: 60%
    • Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) – State Secondary School Boards: 65%
    • Pre-University Examination Certificate awarded by a university after one year of study beyond Secondary School Certificate (SSC-Class X ) in an affiliated College: 65%
    • Tamil Nadu Higher School Certificate: 120/200
  • Any unit which contains work integrated learning, a community placement or interaction with the community may require a police check, Working with Children Check or other check.
