To be eligible for admission to the Master of Urban and Environmental Planning, a student must:

  • Hold a Bachelor degree from a recognized University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.5. Planning related Bachelor's degrees will be assessed by the Program Director to determine whether the degree is appropriate for admission. Students with a Planning-related Bachelor degree may be eligible for up to 40 credit points of credit
  • OR hold a Griffith Graduate Certificate in Urban and Environmental Planning with a minimum GPA of 4.5. These students will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing

  • With no sub-score less than 19

PTE

Marks - 58/90

  • with no score less than 50

IELTS

Marks - 6.5/9

  • with no sub-score of less than 6.0

Other eligibility criteria
Applicants whose previous study was completed in English, are exempted from taking the English language test There is no Application Fee for 2021 or 2022 but for applications onwards of 2023 applicants will need to pay $50AUD COVID-19 and Travel Restrictions for commencing students only: International students must be in Australia and able to attend campus to commence this program. Arrangements for continuing students unable to travel to Australia will be advised by the School
