Looking at averages across universities in the world, Canadian B-schools probably have the lowest GMAT requirement, ranging from a low 500 to a high 600 or above. Schools higher up on the hierarchy of prestige tend to have higher scores. The higher average GMAT scores at prestigious B-schools are the result of their higher admissions standards. Most of the elite b-schools in Canada do not have a minimum required GMAT score because these schools have higher admissions standards otherwise. This explains why those colleges with no set minimum GMAT scores tend to have a higher average GMAT score.

The average GMAT score differs across universities in Canada. GMAT cut-off in Canadian B-schools may vary according to the universities’ ranking. In this article, we are going to tell you about the average GMAT score for top business schools in Canada. MBA in Canada is one of the most popular courses among international students. Canada's immigration-friendly policies are one of the biggest factors that draw international students. So, getting to know the average GMAT for business schools is even more crucial.

One thing that you need to keep in mind is that average GMAT scores do not represent the complete picture. The range of GMAT scores may vary and can be up to 100 points up or down. Targeting an average GMAT score puts you in a safe place. Also, GMAT scores are not the only criteria for getting into a good Canadian B-school. B-schools in Canada look at various other factors for giving admission to MBA aspirants. Even more than average GMAT or a perfect GMAT score does not guarantee admission to a top B-school.
