Entry Requirements

12th

70%

  • Applicants must have passed 12th from CBSE or CISCE or other Senior Secondary School Certificate awarded after Standard XII 
  • A minimum overall average of 70% in five academic Grade 12 courses*
  • A final grade of at least 70% in Grade 12 academic English and any other required subject

     

  • Applicants must have completed before May 1 of the year of expected entry to Dental Hygiene, at least 30 credit hours of study at an accredited North American University including: 

    • at least 3 credit hours in Introductory Chemistry
    • at least 6 credit hours in Introductory Biology
    • at least 6 credit hours in an approved writing course*, and
    • 15 additional credit hours.
  • Applicants are recommended to complete the following:
    • three credit hours in introductory chemistry
    • vertebrate anatomy
    • vertebrate physiology
    • a selection of courses from the humanities and social sciences

TOEFL

Marks - 90/120

No lower than 20 in each band and students must achieve 4.0 or better on the essay or TOEFL Writing

PTE

Marks - 61/90

No lower than 50 in each skill

IELTS

Marks - 6.5/9

No lower than 6.0 in each band

Other eligibility criteria

ELP scores are not required if:

  • you studied at an English language institution for at least three years at the secondary level, or
  • you studied at an English language institution for at least one year at the post-secondary level.
