  • The BScCS is a four-year degree program providing students with a solid foundation in core areas of computing recognized by the Canadian Information Processing Society
  • The program prepares students for a wide variety of careers in traditional and emerging fields in computing. Alongside core courses a targeted range of elective courses are offered through which students have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in specific areas of computing or in complementary disciplines
  • Students may choose to specialize in one of the following disciplines: software engineering, or computer networking
  • Throughout their studies, students are also required to complete course projects, individually or in teams, using the programming skills they acquire in the early years

  • Applicants must hold an Indian School Certificate Examination, Intermediate Certificate, Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Senior School Certificate grades of 60% or higher OR General Certificate of Education (GCE)
  • Applicants must have studied the following courses:
    • English (60% or higher)
    • Math, including Pre-Calculus (65% or higher)
    • Biology, Physics or Chemistry (65% or higher)
    • 1 elective from group 1 (60% or higher)
    • 1 elective from group 1 or 2 or 4 (60% or higher)
  • Minimum admission average: 75% is required

English Proficiency Waiver
  • Applicants are not required to submit proof of English Language proficiency if they have studied in an English language school (secondary or higher) for a minimum of 3 years and can offer the India CBSE & CISCE year 12 English with a minimum grade of 75%

Applicants who meet academic requirements for admission but are not able to demonstrate English language proficiency at the time of application may be offered conditional acceptance (except for Nursing and Education applicants)
