University of Saint Michael's College, established in the year 1852 by the Congregation of St. Basil of Annonay, France is a catholic institution that provides higher education in the field of liberal arts and sciences. Mostly dealing with teachings and research in humanities and theology streams, the college is extremely focussed on attaining education through Catholic Intellectual ideologies.
One of the oldest buildings of St. Michael's is located in the Clover Hill Estate designed by the renowned architect William Hay. The college further expanded to Queen's Park and currently stands at par with Victoria College to the north and Regis College to the south. The University of Saint Michael's College currently offers undergraduate courses in Celtic studies, medieval studies, Christianity and culture. The undergraduate courses are designed focussing on giving personalized attention to students which would help them attain their goals. The students are in constant touch with the faculties and staff within the campus to drive a conducive learning experience with flexible class schedules and individual goals. The campus environment is extremely welcoming.

There is also a collection of theological books emphasising patristics, church history, catholic missions, religious educations and teachings of the bible.
The university also has an active rugby club that offers St. Michael's undergraduate students to play rugby. There is also a ski and snowboarding club that sponsors an annual fest on the campus for the skiers and snowboarders. Apart from these, there is a track club and a frisbee club for the students. Some of the noted alumni of St. Michael's include Marshall McLuhan, Charles Coughlin, Paul Martin, Laurier Lapierre, Robert J. Birgeneau and Bonnie Crombie.
