  • Applicants must have an appropriate undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • A standing equivalent of at least B+ (U of T 77-79%) in their final year (i.e., two terms) of undergraduate studies (the equivalent of 5 full credits, or 10 half credits)
  • Applicants must show knowledge of at least three senior level computer science courses equivalent to: Algorithim and complexity, database system and operating system

TOEFL

Marks - 93/120

  • Minimum of 22 on both the Writing and Speaking sections

IELTS

Marks - 7/9

  • At least 6.5 for each component

  • GRE is optional, though applicants are strongly encouraged to submit scores
    • Average scores are within the 80th percentile for Verbal (158+) and 95th percentile for Quantitative (168+)
  • Work experience (including co-op placements or internships) is preferred, but not required
