When we talk about the Tallinn University of Technology ranking the university has been ranked between 601 and 650 for four years in a row by QS - World University Ranking, 2017-2020. The university was ranked between 651 and 700 for 2021. THE (Times Higher Education) - University Ranking has ranked the university between 801 and 1000 for two years, 2020 and 2021. Earlier, the university was ranked between 601 and 800 for three years, 2017 - 2019.

QS subject ranking has ranked the Engineering and Technology programme at the university between 451 and 500 for 2018, 2019 and 2020. THE (Times Higher Education) has ranked the PG Engineering and Technology course at the university between 601 and 800 for 2020 and 2021.
