Given the pandemic, COVID-19, the conducting body of the OET exam has launched the OET at Home. This is the identical OET exam that is conducted at a test centre. However, the OET at Home would be an OET computer-based test that would be conducted from the safety of the home of the candidate. The OET @ Home test is currently available in select destinations and for Medicine and Nursing subjects. More subjects are being added to the facility. When will I get my OET results?

As mentioned earlier, OET is held across India on fixed dates. Hence, the OET results of candidates will be available on their OET account after 16 business days from each test date. OET test-takers will receive a statement of their results which shows their scores for each of the four sub-tests, on a scale from 0 to 500. Candidates can log in to their 'myOET' profile to access their OET scores. Candidates should note that OET on Paper scores are available 14 business days after they take OET and OET on Computer at a venue/OET at Home results will be available after 16 business days from the date you take the exam. 

How do I receive my OET results?

Candidates wanting to access their OET results must visit the official website. Log in to 'myOET' account to view their OET results on the dashboard. Candidates can view, download, and print their electronic statement of results from their profile dashboard. OET will not provide test results by email, fax, or phone.

How are OET results issued? 

The OET results are available to candidates after 16 business days from the date of taking the test. Candidates can download the official copies of their statements of results from their 'myOET' profile. The OET test results would typically have scores of four sub-tests that make up the OET reported on a scale from 0 to 500 in ten-point increments. The numerical score will be mapped to a separate letter grade for each sub-test ranging from A (highest) to E (lowest). There is no overall grade for OET. Boards and councils can access OET results via the OET website.

How to access OET scores?

OET Scores: Healthcare professionals who have appeared for their OET exam can check their OET scores 16 business days from the day of the OET exam. OET test takers are required to enter their OET login credentials on the official website: https://www.occupationalenglishtest.org/ to access their online OET accounts where their OET scores would be published. Furthermore, candidates can also download the hard copy of their OET statement of results from their online profile.

What is the validity of OET scores?

OET score validity: A lot of times, test takers are under the impression that their OET validity is limited to two years. This is not entirely true. The OET validity is not determined by the Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment Trust (CBLA) - the conducting body of the OET test like other tests but by the regulatory authorities that are going to require your OET scores would determine OET validity.

The OET official website does not provide a duration for the validity of the OET exam. Candidates are required to check with the concerned authorities (e.g. boards and councils, government departments) that recognize the OET exam about the duration of the validity of the OET results pre-determined by them.
