Founded by Alexis Lavigne, ESMOD France imparts quality education in the field of fashion and business management. This academic institution is the oldest and the first fashion design school in the world. Apart from the undergraduate and the master's courses, ESMOD also offers several summer courses in various disciplines such as designing and pattern making. It was in the year 1976 that this institution adopted its current name. ESMOD Fashion Business is the first business school dedicated to the field of fashion. The ESMOD Group has established many institutions in different locations across the world, including Tokyo, Dubai, Seoul and Istanbul. Presently, the ESMOD Group has built 20 schools in 13 different nations.

The placement success rate of this institution ranges from 85% to 98%, and the students get 500 job offers every year.
