Frankfurt School of Finance and Management is a non-profit institute established in the year 1957. Initially, this institute was identified as Bankakademie (the Banking Academy) which trained banking employees professionally. In 1989, this academy opened its own publishing house to distribute educational resources.
This institution has received accreditations from many reputable organizations, including the Association of MBAs, German Council of Science and Humanities and the EQUIS. Presently, this institution offers two undergraduate degrees, namely the Bachelors of Science and the Bachelors of Arts. Besides, it provides education in several postgraduate and MBA programs.

The total student enrolment was 5,860, in which there were 2,685 students enrolled in academic programs, and 3,175 students enrolled in professional programs. In the same year, this institute had 67 professors, 66 doctoral candidates, and 13 program directors. The Frankfurt School of Finance and Management grants various general, special, and premium scholarships to the students to assist them in their financials. Some of the scholarships offered are the Women in Business Scholarship, the IB Scholarship, Sports Scholarship, and the GO West Scholarships. All these scholarships have different terms and conditions applicable to them.
This institute provides Career Services to bring lucrative job opportunities for the students. The career service team gives students the guidance they need to improve their professional skills. Also, this team organizes a Career Day for the students to foster interaction with different national and international employers.
Many notable alumni are associated with the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management who are now pursuing successful careers. Some of them include Christian Sewing who is a German banker and the current CEO of Deutsche Bank, Alexander Doll who was the former CEO of Barclays Germany, Rainer Fuhrmann who was the former CEO of DZ Bank, and Jochen Klösges who is the present CEO of the E.R. Schiffahrt. Also, renowned German politician Stefan Müller graduated from this institution.
