The Technical University of Munich is amongst the best universities in Europe having four campuses in Bavaria: Munich, Garching, Weihenstephan, and Straubing. In 1868, it was initiated by King Ludwig II. The university has a partnership with TU9 which is an integrated society of the most dignified German Institutes of Technology. TUM ranks fourth among the European Most Innovative University by Reuters 2017.

The academic faculties of the university are divided into four campuses. The main campus is in Munich is spread in the three regional site includes the departments of Architecture, Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, Business School and Medical Hospitals. The second campus is situated in Garching which houses faculties of Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Informatics, and Mathematics.

The third campus is situated in Weihenstephan which is just 35 km north of Munich that is home to the School of Life Science. The last campus is in Straubing which is the home of Biotechnology and Sustainability. Moreover, TUM founded German University of Science and Technology in Singapore.

TUM has collaborated with renowned companies namely BMW, Audi and Siemens to transfer sources of knowledge in the economy. TUM Personnel includes 17 Nobel Prize winners, 22 Leibniz Prize and 24 IEEE Fellows.

The university has around 175 international partnerships with various firms in Europe, the United States of America, Asia, and Australia. To name a few, ETH Zurich, Stanford University, Singapore Nanyang Technological University, University of Melbourne and multiple IIT's in India. It is also a partner with LACTOSE, an international network for senior lecturers and students among best Asian and European universities. It also has a partnership with the Top Industrial Managers for Europe (TIME network).

College that gave good memories.

Tips: Have to look for locality whether off campus facilities are good or not and look for good courses which college is offering . Look for courses and faculty which will benefit the students most . So I will suggest this to the upcoming students for higher education.

College is very safe and protected.

Tips: One should know about their courses offered . About the immigration details properly. About the food and cultures inhibited here. About the climate. All should be known to a student to have a pleasant environment here. So browse about this info and will benefit student.

Likes (Safety): As far as I have seen, I haven't heard of anything unsafe here. The place is protected and safe to live and study. I have immense respect towards college for providing safety to students. This thing impressed me a lot .
