Within the university campus, there is also a university hospital that works closely with the university's school of medicine. The campus of this university also includes museums such as Academic Museum of Antiquities, Egyptian Museum, Arithmeum, Teaching Collection of Archaeology and Anthropology, Botanical Garden, Mineralogical Museum, Goldfuss Museum of Palaeontology, Horst Stoeckel-Museum of the History of Anesthesiology and Museum Koenig.

Regarding the research conducted at the University of Bonn, there are six major research themes that have the sole objective of making significant developments towards the prominent scientific, technological, and societal barriers in today's time.
