Top Reasons for Rejection of Ireland Study Visa

Here we are going to talk about some common mistakes that candidates make while applying for their study abroad student visa, and how to best avoid them. This way, the visa would never be rejected in the first place.

Insufficient Financial Proof

A lot of times, the student visa for candidates travelling to Ireland is rejected due to financial reasons. Authorities get the impression that the candidate would not be able to financially sustain himself during the entire tenure of his stay and on this ground reject his visa. Hence, it is very important for the candidate to prove to the officials about the availability of funds in their account that would sustain them for their entire stint in the country. Candidates must be able to show that they will not rely on support from public funds or public resources for the duration of their stay

Submitting Incomplete Documents

Applying for a student visa is a tedious process and requires a lot of preparation. Candidates are required to get their documents in place on the day of the Ireland student visa interview. Candidates can take a look at the official website for the list of documents required in the process of successfully acquiring a student visa. Students should carry the documents in order and not forget anything. Providing insufficient documents is another major reason for a lot of visas being rejected.

Inconsistent Study Profile

The universities and colleges in Ireland have specific academic requirements that students are required to meet to be eligible for admission. Hence, it is important for candidates to check the university eligibility guidelines before applying for a student visa. It is fairly important to receive the letter of acceptance or else applying for a student visa is next to impossible. A lot of times candidates are also required to appear for exams such as TOEFL and IELTS to prove their proficiency in the English language. Candidates are also recommended to choose a study programme that is related to their educational background or work experience. Any major jump could be seen as a deterrent to receiving his student visa.

Earlier Visa Refusal

If your previous visa application was refused and your situation has not changed since or the candidate has failed to provide information as to why their Study Visa application should be accepted as a good ground for a visa refusal.

A student visa is a document that legally allows students to pursue an education in a particular country for a limited period. In this case, the learning process stretches and candidates can extend their student visa. However, upon the completion of the course, they are required to return back to their country. It is important that candidates project the impression that they will return to their country and not settle down illegally upon the completion of their course. Students should be confident during their interview and answer all questions posed to them truthfully and to the best of their understanding, in order to acquire that student visa.

Hello Pranav. 7000 euro is for outside Dublin. Ideally, a student needs to show 10000 euros for Dublin and Cork campuses. Know more about studying in Ireland from our counsellors here: https://studyabroad.shiksha.com/apply
