The University of Dublin is a university situated in Dublin, Ireland. Found in 1592, this university is known to be Ireland's oldest university. This university was structured after well-established collegiate universities but established only one college which is known to be the Trinity College Dublin. From 1947 onwards, this university transitioned towards becoming a large state-funded university. Since the 1950s, Trinity College Dublin has also built its buildings with modernist architecture style.

During a span of 427 years since its beginning, this university has undergone significant development in all terms. Trinity College Dublin offers many undergraduate, postgraduate, short courses and online education. Its faculties comprise of Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science, Faculty of Engineering, Mathematics and Science, Faculty of Health Science. Trinity College Dublin is also credited for being the manufacturer of some of the leading spin-out companies such as Opsona, Havok, IdentiGEN, Iona Technologies. This college accounts for one-fifth of all such spin-out companies from Irish higher education institutions. More specifically, Trinity College Dublin has manufactured more than 38 campus companies, which are operating in different sectors such as medical equipment, pharmaceutical, and ICT. It has 115,00 alumni around the world from over 150 countries. Students can avail of over 170 societies and sports clubs.

The college has practical emphasis and different from what we've done in India

Tips: Way of studying is very different from India. Here the main focus is on practical knowledge. You'll have plenty of group projects and individual assignments to work on which will enhance your team working and individual contribution capabilities. There's a lot of focus of co- curricular activities as well. A lot of societies to join, to explore your interest. You'll have plenty of guest lectures from industry leaders which will give you a good insight of what's going on in the industry at the mo...

The university campus is fabulous with proper infrastructure and faculty is very helpful for us .

Tips: Make sure you have study visa with proper paperwork, you should have good English speaking skills. Always keep your passport in safe place. I reffer to take hostel not to become a tenat because it becomes very expensive for you so be careful about that. Study hard and be safe from seniors.
