The Istituto Europeo Di Design (IED) Milan was founded in 1966 in Milan and over the years, it has expanded. At present, it has various campuses situated in the South-East Area with 3 training centres located at Sciesa / Bezzecca, Piranesi, and Pompeo Leoni. All of these training centres are easily accessible from Linate Airport and the Central Station. Laboratories, classrooms, and photographic studios are located a step away from the fashion district, Milan.

Studying in Milan will allow students to have the opportunity to absorb its creative and productive energy. For the discretion of students, Istituto Europeo di Design Milan provides student services. IED cares about the well-being of its students and in recent years, it has activated extra educational support services in order to make the study experience integrated, mindful, and participatory. At Istituto Europeo di Design Milan, many modelling labs are also situated. Light modelling area, traditional working area, 3D printing area, painting and finishing area, and prototyping area are present at IED Milan.

The schools at Istituto Europeo Di Design Milan are the School of Visual Arts, Communication School, Fashion School, Design School, and School of Art and Restoration.
