Established in 1913, Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) is a public university based in the Netherlands. Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam is affiliated with Erasmus University and also home to its faculty of medicine is one of the largest medical centers in Europe.
It includes the prestigious Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus School of Economics, and Erasmus University Medical Center. Major ranking providers have consistently ranked the university amongst the top 100 educational institutes of the world. Initially, the university was known for offering courses in commerce and economics. Later, it started offering courses in Social Sciences, Law, History, Arts, Philosophy, and Business Administration.

Rotterdam School of Management, the international business school comes under Erasmus University Rotterdam. It is one of the most recognized schools in Europe. It offers a distinct intellectual culture based on the values of being critical, creative, caring, and collaborative, and is committed to the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals as a framework for its mission. The university was ranked 17th by Bloomberg among European best business schools for 2020. Also in 2019, Financial Times ranked it 6th in Master in Management Ranking.
EUR is home to Jan Tinbergen, the first Nobel Prize winner in economic sciences. Today, the university is recognized for its law, economics, business, and medical faculties. Moreover, Erasmus University has campuses in four different locations, one in The Hague and three in Rotterdam. Campus Woudestein is the central hub of the university and is located only 15 to 20 minutes away from the city center. It offers all the convenience and comfort of a modern and sustainable environment. The facilities on this campus include a library, pc workstations, prayer facilities, cash dispensers, a bicycle shop, coffee corners, a bookstore, a hairdresser, and a sports center.
