  • Applicants must have a qualification equivalent to a New Zealand university bachelor degree with a minimum overall grade comparable to a B grade at UC in required 300-level courses in an area which is relevant to geographic information science (e.g. computer science, digital humanities, environmental science or any other relevant degree subject to approval of the Programme Director) 
  • A student without a university degree can apply for admission, and should have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in GIS or a related field. Applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
  • B grade is equivalent to an overall grade of  55% for Elite universities of India; University of Delhi, University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly University of Pune), IITS and NITS 
  • Please note:
    Entry criteria is based on the final two (2) years of study
    No more than two (2) fails or repeats (backlogs) in the final two (2) years of study

  • With minimum 6.0 band score in each module
