OET Exam Fees: The full form of OET is the Occupational English Test or more commonly referred to as OET and is an exclusive English language test designed for healthcare specialists who are looking to study or work in the healthcare sector in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Maldives, Malta, Namibia, New Zealand, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and the United States of America. In this article, we are going to be talking about OET exam fees and all other important information revolving around OET fees.

The OET exam has been designed for 12 healthcare professions including Occupational Therapy, Dentistry, Nursing, Radiography, Veterinary Science, Medicine, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Podiatry, Pharmacy, and Optometry. Due to the pandemic, the OET exam is available in OET paper mode at the OET test centre, OET computer mode at the test centre and OET computer mode at home. OET Exam Fees

OET Fees: Indian healthcare professionals who are looking to register for their OET exam will be required to pay AU $587. The OET fees in Indian rupees is Rs. 31,917 (AUD $1 = 54.37). Candidates should NOT get confused with the US pricing of the OET exam as the US pricing of the OET exam which is US $455 is ONLY applicable to candidates who are appearing for the OET exam from the US. Indian Healthcare professionals are required to pay the OET exam fees of AU $587.

OET Exam Fees for OET sub-tests

As we have mentioned in our OET results that the OET score of the candidates is provided based on OET sub-sections. OET does not provide an overall OET score. Hence, candidates who want to appear for individual OET sub-tests can do so if they are looking to improve their section score. Candidates should note that this facility is only available for OET tests taken on paper.

OET Exam Cancellation and OET Fee Refunds

A lot of times candidates who have booked their OET exam may want to cancel their exam for reasons known to them. In this section, we are going to be discussing OET fee refunds and OET exam cancellations.

OET Exam Fee refunds (Paper-based test only)

Candidates who have booked their OET exam - paper delivered mode and want to cancel their exam must withdraw their OET bookings up to one week before the test to be eligible for a refund. However, candidates should note that in all cases the AUD $7 online booking fee paid by the candidate during the registration process will not be refunded.

Candidates looking to withdraw their OET booking are required to visit the official website and log into their myOET account. Here against their booking there, will be an option to  'Withdraw' their test and also there would a mention of the refund value, the candidate would be entitled to withdraw the booking.

Candidates should note that NO refunds will be provided for withdrawals made less than a week before the test. Candidates will have to withdraw the entire booking including subtests. and once a request for a withdrawal has been submitted it cannot be reversed.

OET Exam Fee refunds (Computer-based tests only)

Given the pandemic, Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment Trust - the conducting body of the OET exam has launched the OET-at-home test. However, only two professionals, medicine and nursing are available for the OET computer format of the test. Candidates who have booked the computer mode of the OET exam are required to cancel their booking up to two days before the start of their first test to be eligible for a refund.

Candidates would be required to visit th official website and log into his/her account to access their OET registration page. Here, the candidate is required to request a withdrawal of the booking. Candidates who withdraw or cancel less than two days before the test start time will receive no refund.
