Vistula University’s mission is to prepare students for their careers in the best way possible by providing modern study programmes and courses. The university offers attractive fields of study and specialisations according to students' interests. It works closely with business organisations and has more than 300 partner companies. It has more than 66,000 graduates from over 100 countries around the world. The huge library at the university consists of 120,000 volumes, over 30 computers, and a comfortable seating arrangement. Apart from this, Vistula also provides several sports facilities to its students as a member of the academic Sports Association. The sports options at the university include badminton, table tennis, aerobics, tennis, volleyball, indoor soccer, basketball, and more.

Courses Offered

What all courses are available to international students?

The university offers academic programmes in English and the Polish language at the undergraduate and graduate levels. There are 11 bachelor degrees, 9 master’s courses, and one double diploma programme for students. The double diploma programme is offered in partnership with Centria University of Applied Sciences in Finland. The double diploma programmes are:

  • BA in Management, Enterprise Management Specialisation (Vistula) and BA in Business Management (Centria University);
  • BA in Computer Engineering (Vistula) and BA in Information Technology (Centria University).

It also offers one postgraduate degree programme (taught in English) in Full-Stack Data Science. There are five other postgraduate programmes that are offered in the Turkish language.

Eligibility & Documents Required

What are the eligibility requirements?

International applicants need to have basic academic credentials to be eligible to apply for admission. The university does not have any subject-specific score requirements as admissions are done on a first-come-first-served basis. Applicants need to have the following generic academic credentials:

  • Undergraduate Admission: International students must have a high school degree or certificate from a recognised institution.
  • Graduate Admissions: Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or diploma from a government recognised institution.


English Language Requirements

International applicants need to submit proof of language proficiency as per the course chosen by them. Any one of these test results will be accepted by the university:

What all documents are needed for application?

Scholarships & Financial Aid

Is there any scholarship or financial aid available for international students?

Vistula University is always ready to help its students with financial aid. Thus, it offers an extensive scholarship system. The social scholarship is available to full-time and part-time students, including online students who are in a difficult financial situation, regardless of age, pursuing first- and second-degree study programs. The Rector’s Scholarship is awarded to students who obtain a high average grade or have scientific, artistic or sports achievements in international or national competitions. Additional, for outstanding achievements in these areas, students may receive the Minister’s scholarship.

What is the application process?

International students can apply to the university directly using its online application portal: You can follow these steps to fill your application:

Step 1: Choose your university/school, programme and course and click on the ‘apply now’ button. You will be directed to the course-specific application form. Before that, you need to create a new user account and log in.



Step 2: Enter your details and agree to the terms and conditions.

What are the chances to get into this university?

Vistula University has an acceptance rate between 70% and 80%. The university is moderately competitive. All the applications are evaluated by the university’s Admissions Committee. The evaluation process usually takes five working days. To be selected at the university, students are required to meet the eligibility criteria and English language requirements. How many Indian/international students are studying at the university?

The enrolment at the university ranges between 3,000 and 4,000. Out of the total population, only 512 students are international.

Part Time Work While Studying

Can I work while studying here?

International students are allowed to work in Poland while studying. However, students are required to demonstrate sufficient funds in the bank account to be able to cover their living expenses in the country. International students can work for a maximum of 20 hours during studies and put in three months of full-time work during vacations. As per the law, during vacations, students can work for 40 hours within five working days, averaging 8 hours per day.

Vistula University only has one campus in Warsaw, Poland that houses three academic faculties, one school, and three centres of academic study.

Is on-campus housing available?

The university does not have on-campus accommodation for students. However, students are provided with several off-campus accommodation options and SGGW dormitories.
