Scholarship Overview

In 2018, in conjunction with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students, Learning and Teaching) the Australian Catholic University Postgraduate Association (ACUPGA) established the ACUPGA Professional Development Grant. The ACUPGA Professional Development Grant has been designed to assist students with the associated costs of partaking in professional development opportunities that support the studies and future career prospects of ACU postgraduate students.

Eligibility

The Grant is open to current students who meet all of the following criteria:

• must be currently enrolled in any postgraduate course
• Undertaking a professional development activity, for example, training, professional exams, professional body membership, computer skills courses. 
• The activity must be undertaken within 6 months (either before or after) of the application closing date.

Preference will be given to following candidates:

Preference will be given to students who have not received any other ACU scholarship or grant related to the professional development opportunity identified in this application.

Application Process for this scholarship

Application process- Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application:

• A written statement of approximately 200 words outlining what you hope to gain from your chosen activity
• Evidence of completion (or intent to complete) the chosen activity
• Budget of expenses relating to your chosen activity, this may include the purchasing of necessary equipment.
