Established in 2011 and donated by DOOLEYS Lidcombe Catholic Club Ltd, this scholarship is designed to financially assist postgraduate coursework students, suffering financial hardship, to continue their studies.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to future and current students who meet all the following criteria:

• Course: any ACU postgraduate degree
• Campus: North Sydney, Strathfield or Blacktown
• Financial hardship

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• Preference to students currently living in Western Sydney.

Application Process for this scholarship

Application process- Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application:

• A written statement of approximately 200 words outlining: 
  • any hardship or barriers you have overcome to access higher education.
  • how your degree will change your future.
• Evidence of financial hardship:
  • Most recent Tax Assessment Notice OR
  • Centrelink Income Statement OR
  • The most recent 60 days of bank transactions AND pay slips from the last 6 weeks

Selection criteria- Applications are assessed based on the strength of the following criteria:

• Written statement
• Financial need

The recipient will be selected by the Scholarships Office.
