• Humber College offers this scholarship to new International Students. The scholarship is competitive in nature and applications will be considered based on academics, community involvement, referee/reference letters and statement of interest

Max scholarship per student: CAD 2,000 => Rs 1,17,040

Conversion rate used: 1 CAD = Rs. 61.93 (last updated 8th June 2022)

• This Scholarship incentive will equate to CAD 2,000 off student’s tuition fees over the course of their first 2 semesters of studies.

Eligibility

• XIIth: Applicant must have passed High School with a minimum grade of 70 or above in required program subjects
  • Required courses: Grade 12th English and Grade 12th Mathematics
  • Required courses for Diploma in Biotechnology: Grade 12th  English, Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry 
  • Required courses Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technician/Advance Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology: Grade 12th Mathematics with 81 percent or above
  • Required courses for Advanced Diploma in Animation - 3D: Grade 12the English
• Portfolio (Required for Advanced Diploma in Animation - 3D only): 
  • The portfolio should include 10 examples of original work, A variety of media is ideal (e.g. drawing, painting, musical, written and photography) to evaluate the creativity of applicant with different tools
• Written Statement (Required for Advanced Diploma in Animation - 3D only):
  • Select three (3) of the pieces in the portfolio describe why that piece has been chosen in the portfolio (max 150 words per description)
• English Language Proficiency Proof:
  • TOEFL: 80 with no single test score below 20
  • IELTS: 6.0 with no single test score below 5.5
  • PTE: Minimum score of 53 - 57
  • ELP can be waived for the applicants having a minimum of 3 years of full-time study at the secondary school level where English is the primary language of instruction and evaluation, with acceptable grades in all English courses

• Personal statement of interest – must include your Grade Point Average.

Application Process:

• New students will receive application details along with their electronic Letter of Acceptance. The International Entrance Scholarship application form and details will be located within the Welcome Package linked in the acceptance email
