Application Process for this scholarship

To apply for this award, students must submit the following to a NLC Financial Aid Officer:

  • Students must submit a general application form (with no budget sheet)
  • A paper of no more than 5,000 words that was based on NLC coursework undertaken during the current academic year
  • Essays MUST be submitted in electronic format in WORD (scanned and hard copies will not be accepted). Application form and essays need to be submitted as two separate documents
  • A panel of judges will evaluate submissions based on topic focus, thesis development, appropriate levels of research, grammatical correctness, and formatting and citation conventions
