Scholarship Overview

• Each year Kristianstad University offers a number of scholarships to qualified students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland
• The scholarship will be awarded to citizens of a country outside the EU/EEA with the requirement of paying tuition fee for studies at Kristianstad University

This scholarship is applicable for Bachelors Degree

This scholarship is applicable for the following courses in Kristianstad University in Sweden

• Bachelor of Science in Software Development
  Bachelor Programme in Computer Science, specialization in Internet of Things
• Bachelor of Science in English: Language, Literature and Society

• All study programs at Kristianstad University can be considered for scholarships, although one- or two-year Master’s programs that are campus-based and taught in English are prioritized

Max scholarship per student: SEK 405,000 => Rs 33,04,800

Conversion rate used: 1 SEK = Rs. 7.94 (last updated 8th June 2022)

• The scholarship covers a full or partial reduction of the tuition fee and it doesn't cover living costs
• The scholarship covers all or part of the tuition fees and is not paid out in cash but deducted from the tuition fees
• The scholarship is automatically extended to apply for a maximum of two semesters, on condition that the recipient’s study results are satisfactory

Eligibility

• Applicants must have passed high school
• Applicants must also meet the following conditions:
  • Must be a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland
  • Have paid the application fee
  • The student must accept the study place offered on the program

Note: Applicants are not eligible for a Kristianstad University Scholarship if they have not paid the application fee to Universityadmissons.se for the program they wish to study

Preference will be given to following candidates:

Priority will be given to students who:

• applied in the first instance to Kristianstad University and on time in accordance with the national admission round
• have Kristianstad University as their first choice
• have studied at Bachelor's level at Kristianstad University and are applying for Master programmes
• have excellent study merits and good proficiency in English

• The assessment of scholarship applications is made on the basis of the merits and documents sent to Universityadmissions.se when applying for a program

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.
