• This scholarship is offered in Three (3) tiers which varies according to the amount for the award

• Bachelor of Engineering Honours and Bachelor of Commerce

• This scholarship is applicable for all the undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs offered at the University of Sydney

Max scholarship per student: AUD 5,000 => Rs 2,82,550

Conversion rate used: 1 AUD = Rs. 55.92 (last updated 8th June 2022)

• Tier 3 Scholarships capped at AUD$5,000 towards a recipient’s first-year tuition fees

Eligibility

• Applicants:
  • must have any one of the following:
    • CBSE score of 18.5, entry requirement is the total of the best four externally examined subjects (where A1=5, A2=4.5, B1=3.5, B2=3, C1=2, C2=1.5, D1=1, D2=0.5)
    • Indian School Certificate- 96 (average of the best four externally examined subjects, including English)
    • Indian Higher Secondary School Certificate- 95 (Average of the best 5 academic subjects in the HSSC in the states, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal)
  • must satisfy the English language proficiency requirement by submitting one of the following tests:
    • IELTS- Overall score of 7, with a minimum score of 6.0 in each band 
    • TOEFL- Overall score of 96, with a minimum of 17 in reading, listening and speaking and 19 in writing
    • PTE- Overall score of 68  and a minimum result of 54 in each band
  • must be enrolled for CRICOS registered program of study at the University of Sydney in any Undergraduate coursework full degree program
  • must be willing to promote the program in which they are enrolled as well as represent the University of Sydney at student orientation, marketing events and corporate networking events

  • All eligible applicants with an unconditional offer by a specified cut-off date will be considered for the scholarships

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.
