BMC International College was founded in 1966 as Redhill Tutorial Institution. It was renamed as Royale School of Commerce in 1967 and again as People's Park Commercial School later the same year. Its name was changed again to Kim Tian Commercial School in 1979 and to BMC Commercial Training Centre in 1980. In 2003, it pioneered the Mendaki Tuition Scheme (MTS) and was renamed as BMS Academy. It finally received its current name in 2009.
The college has two campuses in Singapore; one in Jurong East and the other in Ang Mo Kio. Both these campuses feature world-class infrastructure and a plethora of modern facilities. They provide an excellent learning environment. Each campus houses spacious classrooms, hi-tech labs and a huge library. Besides academic facilities, the campuses also offer a number of administrative, residential and dining services.
They provide several recreational facilities too. BMC offers professional and vocational courses to individuals as well as corporations in the fields of engineering, accounting, computing, business, psychology, hospitality, counselling and tourism. It has some well-reputed educational partners including Autodesk, LCCI Qualifications, Pearson Education BTEC, the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (CTH), the University of Hertfordshire (UK) and NCC Education (UK).
