The National University of Singapore, Institute of Systems Science (NUS-ISS) was established in 1981. It develops and promotes digital talent for the industry. The university offers graduate degrees, professional and development programmes, as well as consultancy, applied research and various career services. The university is widely recognised for nation SkillFuture movement which helps in enabling a digital economy. NUS-ISS has partnered with National Continuing Education & Training (CET), the National Infocomm Competency Framework (NICF) by SSG and Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA). The university has also co-organised with National Defence University, USA, a regional Cyber Security conference. It also works in collaboration with IBA, IDA & WDA set up 'Enterprise Social Business Centre of Excellence'.
For graduates, Diploma in System Analysis is available. It is a one-year full-time course. At the PG level, it offers Master of Technology in Digital Leadership, Master of Technology in Enterprise Business Analytics, Master of Technology in Intelligent Systems, Master of Technology in Knowledge Engineering, and Master of Technology in Software Engineering. The full-time master’s degree programmes have a duration of 1 year (2 semesters) and part-time is for 2 years (4 semesters).
The university also offers executive education programmes in various fields like Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Digital Agility, Digital Innovation & Design, Digital Products & Platforms, Digital Strategy & Leadership, Software Systems, and Stackup-Startup Tech Talent Development. These courses vary in their duration ranging from six months to a year.
Stackable programmes in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Smart Systems & Platforms, and Digital Solutions Development are also available. It also has professional certificate programmes in Digital Leadership and Digital Marketing
