  • Note down the colleges that offer the best bang for your buck.
  • Familiarize yourself with the various bank loans and college scholarships that are available. After looking at the options, shortlist the affordable and cost-effective options.

  • Universities require you to submit the scorecards of the tests in which you have appeared at the time of application. Therefore, apply for the tests and give enough time to yourself to receive the appropriate scores and certificates. The perfect time to appear for the tests is around September – October, in the year prior to admissions. Plan for buffer time as well, in case you need to retake the test.

  • Colleges and Universities will send quite a few emails concerning your applications. Be prompt in replying to those emails.
  • Additionally, you might be asked to appear for personal or video interviews. These are scheduled in the first few months of the year; January to March, and sometimes April.
  • As per your performance, the universities will send the acceptance letters. If you like the offer, do not delay in accepting it.
  • You will need to pay a non-refundable deposit to confirm your admission.
