The University of Tokyo

Established in 1877, The University of Tokyo or UTokyo is a public research university located in Bunky, Tokyo, Japan. The university was earlier known as the Imperial University and the Tokyo Imperial University, before finally getting its present name in 1948. The University has ten faculties that are further divided into 15 graduate schools. The University enrolls around 30,000 students every year of which around 2,000 are international students. The university has five campuses located in Hong, Komaba, Kashiwa, Shirokane, and Nakano.

Kyoto University

Founded in 1897, Kyoto University is a national university located in Kyoto, Japan. It is one of the oldest universities in Jaan and was also one of the formal Imperial Universities. The University is often ranked among the top universities in Japan and Asia by various ranking institutions. The University has ten faculties that are further divided into 19 Graduate Schools. The University enrolls around 22,000 students every year in its various programs. The university has three campuses namely in Yoshida, Katsura, and Gokash.

Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech)

Established in 1881, Tokyo Institute of Technology also referred to as Tokyo Tech is a national research university located in Greater Tokyo Area, Japan. The University is one of the most prestigious institutes for science and technology studies in Japan. It is often touted as one of the most selected universities in Japan, whose admission is of the toughest in the whole of the country. The Tokyo Institute of Technology has three campuses located in Okayama Station campus in Okayama, Tamachi campus in Tamachi, and Suzukakedai campus in Suzukakedai. The education system at Tokyo Tech is organized into three undergraduate schools, six graduate schools, which houses over 40 departments, and multiple research laboratories. 

Osaka University

Also referred to as the University of Osaka is a public research university located in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Established in 1931, it was earlier part of the Imperial Universities in Japan and is one of the most sought after universities in the country. The Osaka University has three campuses located in Suita, Toyonaka, and Minoh. Osaka University is organized into 11 faculties for undergraduate programs and 16 graduate schools. The University also boasts 21 research institutes, 4 libraries, and 2 university hospitals. The English programs taught at the University are a major hit among international students.
