  • Applicants must have passed standard XII with 65% from ICSE/CBSE or 70% from State Board (All) and NIOS with minimum grade B in Mathematics and minimum grade B in a physical science or technology subject; OR
  • Applicants must have passed standard XII with 60% from ICSE/CBSE or 65% from State Board (All) and NIOS with Maths and a physical science or technology subject (with an EPQ or Core Maths at grade B)
  • GCSE Maths Grade B - B1 from CBSE, 70% from ICSE and 75% from State boards in standard Xth
  • Physical science and technology subjects accepted include: Physics, Electronics, Further Maths, Design Technology and Engineering Science

Marks - 64/90

  • with a minimum of 59 in each band

IELTS

  • ELP waiver:- Applicants may be exempted from English proficiency requirements if they have scored 75% (CBSE/ISC) or 80% (Any State Board) in standard XII English
Conditional Offer

Undergraduate applicants who accept a conditional offer of a place at Aston University but subsequently fail to meet all the conditions may still be confirmed onto their initial choice if there are still vacancies available on that course and if, upon academic reconsideration of the application, it is deemed that the overall qualities and achievements of the applicant is appropriate to the spirit of the offer. Applicants for postgraduate taught programmes who fail to meet the University’s entry criteria for a specific programme will not normally be able to compensate for underachievement. Where reconsideration for the same course is not possible, an applicant will be considered for any appropriate and available alternative courses within the University
