De Montfort University offers a wide range of scholarships to international students. The university provides the International Scholarship Award for 2023/24 for eligible prospective international students joining a full-time or part-time undergraduate and postgraduate degree.

The Scholarship offers a fee reduction and this award is only applicable to international students who meet the criteria given below in the table.

De Montfort University Eligibility for Indian Students

For admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses at DMU, international students are required to fulfil a minimum eligibility requirement. The minimum eligibility requirement for Indian students are:

  • A minimum of 65% average in the four best subjects (excluding Hindi) in Standard 12 (for undergraduate courses)
  • A bachelor’s degree with 50%-60%, depending on the university you have studied at and the course you are applying for.

The university is amazing because they will give you a lot of exposure about everything.

Tips: Students should know that then they should opt for genuine websites for accommodation and should not go for something from Facebook. As there are a lot of scams going around generally. There are a lot of scams going on here that they should be aware of and the police system is not doing a lot about this issue.

A wonderful place to study!

Tips: De Montfort University is a wonderful place to study at. It is a very welcoming place and the lecturers/staff are very friendly and kind. The buildings are quite easy to get to but even if you can't find your way, there's always help available. There are so many societies/clubs to join, you are literally spoiled for choices. Friendly and helpful all around.

Tips: Everyone that I met here at DMU were friendly and kind. Especially, my tutors were very helpful and supportive. I am very satisfied with DMU and being here in the UK. Leicester is a wonderful city with many people from different backgrounds. I love it here.
