University Ranking
Established in 1832, The University of Durham is a popular collegiate public research university based in the UK. The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU, Shanghai Ranking) has consistently ranked it between 201-300 since 2016. However, if we look at other major ranking publishers then we can notice that Durham University's rank has gone down by most of them over the years. QS World University has placed it at 74th rank in 2017, whereas it has been placed at 86th position in 2021. Similarly, THE has ranked it at 96th place in 2017, and now it has been positioned at 149th place for 2021. US News & World Report has also dropped its rank from 185 in 2018 to 238 in 2021. However, if we look at Durham's ranking within the UK colleges then it has been kept under the top 10 universities in the UK. The Complete University Guide has ranked it among the top 10 colleges in the UK since 2017. The Guardian has also ranked it in the best 10 universities in the UK from 2017 to 2021.

Course Ranking
After looking at the subject rankings, we can say that the MBA program offered by the Durham University is popular among the top-ranking publishers. Financial Times has ranked its MBA program in the category of the top 100 MBA programs in the world since 2016. Its Master in Finance and Master in Management programs were also ranked among the best 100 programs in the world by Financial Times from 2016 to 2020. QS has also placed its MBA program under the top 100 MBA programs globally since 2018. Its Finance and Management programs are highly placed within the UK by reputed UK publishers. The Complete University Guide has ranked it under the top 10 positions within the UK since 2017 for Business & Management Studies ranking. The Guardian has also kept under the top 20 programs in the UK for Business, Management & Marketing.
