  • Applicants must have a 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent qualification acceptable to the University in a discipline other than Law
  • Exemption from these requirements may be considered for those applicants who hold a Master's degree (or equivalent qualification acceptable to the University) OR hold a 2.2 Honours degree in a discipline other than Law (or equivalent qualifications acceptable to the University) together with 2 years’ relevant professional experience
  • Admission under Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL) may be considered for this course
  • Indian equivalency of 2:1
    • First Division Pass and a minimum final average of 58 - 60% (in the traditional system), or
    • CGPA 5.8 - 7.5 on the 10 point scale; depending on the institution attended and the grading system used
  • The university takes into account that at some of India's most prestigious higher education institutions it is rare to be awarded a First Class degree. For this reason, it may be possible at the discretion of the Selector to consider candidates from top institutions who have achieved a very good Second Class degree with a final average of 58% or above (where a UK 2:1 is required)
