University Ranking
More than 100 years old, The University of Sheffield is an open research university based in Yorkshire, UK. Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai Ranking) has consistently ranked Sheffield between 101-150 from 2016 to 2020 in its world universities ranking. QS (Top universities) has also placed Sheffield within the top 100 universities in the world since 2017. However, Times Higher Education (THE) has gradually reduced Sheffield's position from 109th in 2017 to 121st in 2021. US News & World Report has not changed Sheffield's position from 2019 and has placed the university at 133rd rank in 2021.
