  • Students will gain experience in clinical environments throughout the West of Scotland, including our newly refurbished medical teaching center at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary and the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, which boasts a purpose-built learning and teaching facility, teaching laboratories and a state-of-the-art clinical skills suite
  • Students will undertake two periods of elective study and can select from over 20 intercalated degree options, allowing flexibility to study areas of personal interest in more depth
  • The MBChB follows a 'spiral curriculum' where subject material is revisited at different stages of the curriculum with increasing depth and clinical focus

  • The University will consider students with Central Board (CISCE or CBSE) or Metro state board qualifications
  • The normal minimum requirement is 75% average including 75% in key subjects
  • International A-Levels and IB are also accepted
  • Additional requirements: Highers Chemistry, Biology and Physics or Mathematics

    • What makes you suitable – any relevant skills, experience or achievements gained from education, work or other activities
    • Why you want to study in the UK
    • Your English language skills and any English courses or tests you’ve taken
    • Why you want to be an international student rather than study in your own  country
