The University of Portsmouth offers 209 undergraduate, 179 postgraduate and 39 postgraduate research courses. University of Portsmouth Fees & Eligibility
The University of Portsmouth has country-wise eligibility requirements for international students. Although these may differ from course to course, there are some common eligibility criteria that apply to almost all Indian students applying to this university:
UG Admission: Students should have completed Grade 12 with an average of 75% or above in state board examinations or 70% in CBSE/ISC examinations. Appropriate levels of A (GCE advanced level) is preferred by the university. An International Baccalaureate with a minimum score of 24 is required for admission.
PG Admission: Students must have a bachelor’s degree with at least second class honoursdegree. Work experience may be required for specific courses. Since most of the courses at the university are career-oriented, these may have different or higher score requirements.
PhD Admission: Applicants must have a master’s degree with good scores. They also need to submit a research proposal to their respective departments.
Apart from these basic qualifications, students need to fulfil English proficiency requirements as well. Any one of these exam scores will be accepted at the time of admission:
