- This BPS-accredited BSc (Hons) Psychology degree gives students a comprehensive understanding of how the minds work. Using specialist facilities and labs, students will learn how to apply their knowledge to everyday scenarios
- In the first year, Students will get an extensive introduction to psychological theory and research techniques. In year 2, students will study modules that put them on the path towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist, covering advanced areas of psychology including biological and cognitive psychology, social and developmental psychology, and data analysis
- Students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in the field on a year-long work placement between years 2 and 3. They can also spend the year studying abroad
- The third year gives students the chance to focus on the topics that match their interests and ambitions with optional modules covering everything from sports psychology to neuroscience. Students will also undertake a research project on a subject that interests them
- After the course, students can continue their studies to become a Chartered Psychologist or use the transferable skills they have learned to work in areas such as teaching, marketing, social welfare, and law enforcement
