Established in 1967, the University of Salford is a leading public institution of higher education and research in Salford, Great Manchester, New England. It was originally set up as Royal Technical Institute in 1896, transforming into the College of Advanced Technology in 1956. The institution received the university status under the Royal Charter of 1967. Students can pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, doctorate, distance-learning, and certificate programmes at the university in diverse disciplines like law, health, zoology, management, business, economics, engineering, psychology, and accounting. Additionally, there are over 50 student-run societies and clubs on the campus that focus on different social, academic and personal interests. These clubs and societies collaborate and organize various events, competitions and functions on and off the campus to keep students engaged as well as promote cultural unity and relationship building. The total student enrolment at the university is over 19,995, while administrative staff has 2,781 members on the roll.

The University of Salford has a comprehensive alumni list with its graduates having achieved immense success in various fields. Some notable names in the list are Michael Atchia (Former Programme Director of the United Nations Environment Programme), Mohammed Rahif Hakmi (Chairman of Armada Group), Richard James Tice (Businessman and Politician), Robert Swire (Former Chief Physiotherapist for Manchester United) and Alok Sharma (Politician).

A. The university of Stalford is well-connected to the Manchester airport. Reaching London will take just 2 hours by train while moving to Edinburgh will take 3 hours. The main Manchester city is 10 minutes away.

Q. In which month can I join the University of Stalford? How much is the tuition fee?

A. Student intake generally happens either in September or January. For the academic year 2022-2023, the tuition fee is £9,600 for one semester or £16,500 for a full academic year. Students enrolled through International Exchange and Erasmus+ partner universities have to pay £7,600 for one semester and £13,000 for a full year.
