The University of Warwick started operating in 1964 with a few graduate students. In October 1965, the university admitted its first batch of 450 undergraduates. In the same year, the university also gained its Royal Charter of Incorporation. Eventually, it has made its place among the top academic institutions in the world. Warwick is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, AACSB, and the Midlands Innovation group, AMBA, the European University Association, EQUIS, Universities UK, and the Russell Group.

Located 5 km away from the Coventry City Centre, the main site of the University of Warwick comprises three adjoining campuses, namely the Gibbet Hill campus, Westwood campus, and University of Warwick Science Park. The university's main site also houses Warwick Arts Centre that has a concert hall, theatre studio, art gallery, and music Centre. In addition, it is home to the University House and provides several sports facilities to the students. Baroness Valerie Amos is the first black woman to ever sit in the cabinet. Leslie Valiant is the ACM Turing award winner and a computer scientist. Oliver Hart is an economist who has won a Nobel Prize.

The University provides its students with numerous opportunities.

Tips: Warwick is an amazing University. The campus is lovely. It has great facilities like Gym , cafeteria , library. My department provided me with lots of support from professors as well as my fellow classmates. I would recommend everyone to be a part of this university
