Located in Heslington in the centre of the parkland, the University of York Campus has been improving and expanding since its establishment. The Heslington campus is spread across 500 acres of land, while the East Campus spans 117 hectares of land. As per the University of York admissions for 2021-22, there was a total enrolment of 22,020 students out of which 14,975 were undergraduates. Out of 14,975 undergraduates studying at the University of York in the 2021-22 years, 3,445 students were enrolled in Arts & Humanities courses, 6,730 students were enrolled in Science courses and 4,660 students were admitted in Social Science courses.
The University of York Accommodations are offered in teaching, study, and social facilities at the doorstep so that students can make the most of University life. In terms of accommodation, students admitted have to make a choice from 10 colleges they are – Alcuin College, Anne Lister College, Constantine College, David Kato College, Derwent College, Goodricke College, Halifax College, James College, Langwith College, Vanbrugh College and Wentworth College these colleges, in turn, offer students accommodation in its shared, ensuite, catered or self-catered housing options which vary in their fee. The undergraduates are offered a stay for 40-44 weeks, one academic year.
