  • The program is offered by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the mission of the department is to teach the fundamentals of civil engineering science, analysis, design, and management to empower students to assume careers as professional engineers
  • Special areas of emphasis in civil engineering are bridge design, bridge management systems, construction management, and wind engineering; geo-environment, and pavements; transportation networks and multimodal systems etc.

  1. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a closely related engineering or science discipline from an accredited college or university.
  2. Good academic standing at the academic institution last attended.
  3. A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale on all coursework attempted as an upper division student (beyond 60 semester credit hours).
