George Mason University Scholarships & Financial Aid

Is there any scholarship or financial aid available for international students?

The Office of Financial Aid at GMU calculates an estimated budget of the average educational costs related to attending the university. This includes the cost of tuition fees, room, board, books and supplies, transportation, and other personal expenses. Your actual cost should vary depending on students' number of credits, fees, choice of housing and meal plan, and other variables. The estimated budget is known as cost of attendance.

The total financial aid package and outside resources / scholarships may not exceed the COA. GMU will bill for tuition fee, on-campus housing and meal plans, but financial aid may be used to pay for items that the university does not bill for directly, such as books, transportation, off-campus housing, and personal expenses.
