  • Applicants without an undergraduate program in dietetics need to have studied prerequisites
  • Prerequisites: Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Principles of Nutrition, and One course in Anthropology, Psychology or Sociology 
  • Online laboratory courses will not be accepted
  • For Fall 2021, Online laboratory courses will be accepted
  • Coursework in Human Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition and Inorganic and Organic Chemistry must not be more than 10 years old at the time of admission

Conditional Offer

Non-native speakers of English who meet all admission requirements except English language proficiency may be granted conditional admission. To be eligible for conditional admission, applicants must meet one of the following: TOEFL :- 54-69 (internet-based test) IELTS :- 4.5-5.9 Students granted conditional admission will be required to take certain courses in the Intensive English Program (IEP) before matriculating and taking any academic courses at Georgia State. A student may remain on conditional admission status for no more than three semesters.
