  • Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Four-year bachelor’s degree in any field; three-year bachelor’s degrees must be conferred in First Class with Distinction from an NAAC Grade “A” Indian institution (read about Illinois Tech's three-year degree policy); other three-year bachelor’s degrees must be accompanied by a two-year master’s degree. (Note: profession qualifications and postgraduate diplomas completed after a bachelor’s degree are not considered sufficient for admission)

  • During the admission process, Illinois Tech waives TOEFL or IELTS requirements if the applicants: first or native language is English have received a degree from an English-speaking institution and have attended that school for at least two years school’s official medium of instruction is in English, per transcripts
  • The GRE requirement may be waived for applicants to professional master's programs with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university and a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0/4.0

  • Due to the global impact that the novel coronavirus has had on testing centers, Illinois Tech has decided to waive the GRE/GMAT test requirement for spring and fall 2022 applicants

International applicants can be considered for conditional admission. Students applying for conditional admission do not need to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores if they specify on their application that they are interested in conditional admission. Students do not need to provide the Financial Affidavit of Support Form or a passport copy to the admission office
