A minimum TOEFL score of 79 or an equivalent is required for admission to Indiana University's graduate programmes.

There are 11 apartment buildings and 13 residence halls on the site. Indiana University campus housing is permitted in four key areas of the university. Access to the library, cafés, dining halls, classrooms, and other facilities like the sports complex and IU theatre is simple from all residence halls and apartment buildings. In comparison to other campuses, Indiana University strives to make on-campus housing far more fascinating and entertaining. There are Learning Communities for on-campus living. A residential hall is allotted to each Community. IU students received more than $272 million in scholarships and awards. International students have the option of working both on and off campus. The Office of International Affairs on campus must provide permission for a student to work on campus. Once approved, they are only permitted to work 20 hours per week throughout the autumn and spring semesters. They may put in over 20 hours of labour while taking breaks.

There is no difference between taking on-campus or online courses at Indiana University; upon successful completion of the programme, students will receive an Indiana University diploma.
