Hopkins provides need-based scholarships to undergraduate international students. The average scholarship is $25,000, but the individual amounts can be less or more as per the financial need of a student.

Living on campus is a necessary part of the Hopkins undergraduate experience. Almost all the Homewood campus-based undergraduates live in residence halls during their first two years and some even stay longer than this. There are two options of housing at Johns Hopkins University; traditional residence halls and suite-style arrangements. There are many apartments and houses for rent within walking distance of all four Baltimore campuses.
