Oakland's private Lincoln University was founded in 1919 and offers both higher education and research. The school, which was founded in 1926 and is named in honour of President Abraham, was chartered in California. Its headquarters were initially in San Francisco, but in 1999 the campus was relocated to Oakland. It is associated with the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA International Quality Group, CIQG) (CHEA). It is also connected to the California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools and the Institute of International Education (IIE) (CAPPS).

A state-of-the-art theatre, the university library, roomy classrooms, and a number of offices can be found in the academic building at 420 15th Street. The diagnostic imaging faculty's office, courses, and lab are housed in the adjacent structure at 1446 Franklin Street.

LU places a high value on diversity and inclusiveness, and its welcoming campus is home to a wide range of ages, nations, and races. You'll get specialised assistance from the university's admissions office as an overseas student. They will provide you programme selection assistance, application guidance, and visa requirements gu
