Northeastern University is a private college that was established in 1898. Up until the fall of 2018, the academic staff was 1,830. The university has many campuses apart from the primary campus in Boston. The Boston campus offers both graduate and undergraduate programs. They have recently bought the New College of Humanities in London and are planning to open another campus in Vancouver, Canada. There are many professional programs based on the area of interest such as in Analytics they have 7 programs, for the business they have 21 programs, for communications and digital media they have 16 programs and for education and learning they have 15 programs. It has 229 fields of study at the undergraduate and graduate level.

The sports team of the university that is the Northeastern Huskies competed in NCAA Division I like the members of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) in 18 varsity sports. The College of Liberal Arts had been added in 1935. It was only after World War II that the college admitted women. The college has various tie-ups with other universities like Tufts, School, and Museum of Fine Arts and the Hebrew College. The research centres include the Advanced Scientific Computation Center (ASCC) and Affective Science Institute (ASI) among many others. 308 patents have been granted to faculty and students between 2006–2019.

There are a lot of options for physical activity including Baseball, Field Hockey, Track and Field, and Volleyball among others. It has an alumni network of 260,000+ in 179 countries. There are many notable alumni like Andrew Left who is an activist short seller and Jose Juan Barea who is a basketball player. Notable faculty includes Pran Nath who is the co-developer of the theory of supergravity and Mary Florentine who is psychoacoustics and a Matthews Distinguished professor among others.

Tips: One should know how to explore various networking opportunities. Any international student should be ready to mingle with people and develop friendship irrespective of nationality and try to establish a circle in which he/she can learn, create memories and also explore career opportunities.

A life-changing experience, the experience which will be cherished for life.

Tips: Living expenses in Boston are high, but the people here are very friendly. The campus is situated in the center of the city with super friendly and helpful staff. If you are looking for a party town or university then this is definitely not what you should look at. It is a very good place to live in.

Likes (Internships): The coop program or internship is very good in this university as almost everyone gets an internship. Northeastern University also helps in finding internships and they also have a dedicated website ...

There are not many opportunities for part-time work.

Tips: Students should know about the college before joining the college is that college will not provide you any part time work for some extra expenditures of yours. And also college only provides campus recruitment to some students only like 50-60 in 700-800 students.

Likes (Value for money): I rated value for money because I like the infrastructure of the university and the teaching methods of the teachers in the university and public transportation are good here in university. And there will be so much extra curriculum act...
